RETURNS

Changed your mind? No problem — we’re here to help!
If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items free of charge within 30 days of the delivery date.

When You Receive Your Order

Please inspect your items upon arrival. If your order is damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, retain the packaging and contact us within 7 days so we can resolve the issue.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY & TERMS

  • Only items purchased directly from GermannInstrumente.com are eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

  • Items purchased from third-party retailers or resellers must be returned to the original place of purchase.

  • Items marked Final Sale, personalized, or engraved are not eligible for return.

  • Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • Returns postmarked after 30 days will not be accepted or processed.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.

  • If the return causes your original order to no longer qualify for a Gift with Purchase, the free item(s) must also be returned. Otherwise, the retail value of the gift will be deducted from your refund.

  • Germann Instrumente reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fee if items are returned in unsellable condition.

  • To ensure fairness, we may limit returns if we suspect policy misuse (e.g., excessive returns, reseller activity, or fraud).

HOW TO RETURN YOUR ITEM(S)

  1. Visit the return portal here to begin.

  2. Enter your order number and email address used at checkout.

  3. Select the item(s) you wish to return and provide the reason.

  4. Print the provided USPS shipping label and attach it to your return package.

  5. Drop off the package at your local post office or USPS collection box.

Note for customers in Alaska, Hawaii, or rural areas:
If you don’t receive a return label, please include your order number inside the package. Return items via a trackable and insured postal carrier. We’ll notify you via email once the return is received and your refund is being processed.

If you are not using our label:
Include a printed return form or your order number. You are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend shipping with tracking and insurance. Germann Instrumente is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

CANCELLING AN ORDER

Because we aim to ship within 24–48 hours, we may not be able to cancel or modify your order once it’s placed. If you wish to cancel, you may return the package once received.

RETURN LABELS

When you initiate a return, you’ll be prompted to print a USPS shipping label. You can also revisit the portal to reprint your label if needed.

PROMOTIONS & COUPONS

If you return an order that was made using a single-use coupon, that code cannot be reissued.

REFUSED OR UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES

Returned packages may incur additional charges if they are:

  • Sent to an incorrect address

  • Unclaimed after 3 delivery attempts

  • Refused by the recipient

To avoid this, please double-check all address details and inform the recipient that the package is en route.

REFUND TIMELINE

Please allow 7–10 business days after your return is received for processing.
We’ll send you a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.
